A Warm Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year!

Dear PDLA Students, Families, and Caregivers,

Welcome to another exciting year at Pasco Digital Learning Academy (PDLA)! Whether you're joining our community for the first time or returning for another year, we are thrilled to have you as part of the PDLA family. My name is Megan Hockaday, and I am honored to serve as the Director of Pasco Digital Learning Academy.

As I begin my 28th year in education, I continue to be inspired by the opportunity to work alongside incredible students, families, and educators. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of educational leadership roles, each one reinforcing my belief that every student deserves to feel connected, supported, and empowered to succeed.

At PDLA, we are committed to providing every student with equitable access to engaging, high-quality instruction in a learning environment that values belonging, meaningful relationships, and the whole child. We believe learning is about more than academics—it's about building confidence, discovering strengths, overcoming challenges, and preparing students for their future. As we begin this school year together, you'll find a team that values communication, partnership, and flexibility.

Virtual learning is most successful when schools and families work hand in hand, and we look forward to partnering with you throughout the year. We encourage you to stay connected, ask questions, celebrate successes, and reach out whenever you need support. Every student brings unique talents, interests, and goals to our community, and we can't wait to see all they accomplish this year.
